Amqui Station & Visitor Center
Amqui Station + Visitor Center is a restored 1910 train station saved by Johnny Cash and is now converted to a museum and education center. Special events, such as “Evenings at Amqui,” a Music Festival and more are held throughout the year. Visit their website for more information.

Rivergate Mall Area
Over 200 unique specialty stores, restaurants and entertainment venues all within a one-mile area.  The centerpiece is the RiverGate Mall.

Nashville National Cemetery
The Civil-War era cemetery that is the final resting place for nearly 33,000 veterans. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  For more information, visit their website.

Historic Spring Hill Cemetery
With a history that dates back to the 1780s, the beautiful Spring Hill Cemetery is the burial site to music legends Roy Acuff, Floyd Cramer, Kitty Wells and many more.

Cedar Hill Park
Cedar Hill Park is located at 860 Old Hickory Blvd. It includes 7 picnic pavilions, tennis courts, a disc golf course, a walking track around a pond, playground, and fields for organized sports. To rent picnic shelter, call 615-862-8408.

The Cedar Hill Criterium is held each spring at the park.  This is the largest cycling race event in the state and one of the largest in the Southeast. The Madison-Rivergate Area Chamber is a proud sponsor of this annual event, which brings over 1,000 people to our community.

Peeler Park
Peeler Park is a large pastoral park tucked away at the end of a long curve in the Cumberland River known as Neely’s Bend (2043 Neely’s Bend Rd). Its bucolic farmland setting on the river features a 1.9-mile paved multi-use path, equestrian trails, a public boat launch with associated truck and trailer parking, and an air field for remote-controlled planes. Recently, Metro Parks completed the purchase of the 381 acre Taylor Farm property just north of the park, giving Peeler Park a total of over 650 acres of parkland, which will expand the Greenway exponentially.

Harken Hall
Coming soon! This state-of-the-art venue is only the second building in Nashville built specifically for musical acoustics, after the Schermerhorn. This building is made from reclaimed timber, including wooden pegs rather than nails. Custom art, custom stained glass windows, a beer garden, and breath-taking sound!

Eastside Bowl
Part-bowling, part music venue, part lounge, all fun! Enjoy traditional bowling or hyper-bowling, attend concerts, or just stop by the lounge for a drink!

Local Coffee Shops
Madison has a variety of locally-owned coffee shops and cafes.
Visit Sidekicks Cafe, which started as the owner’s own home and retains that rustic, homey feel and a large menu for breakfast and lunch!
Madtown Coffee is in the heart of Madison and is LGBTQIA+ owned. Check out their rotating gallery wall of local artists!
Grams Coffee and Tea is in a cute, former house and is black-owned. It’s the CommuniTEA spot with lots of specialty items!
