Short Business Description
Madison First Baptist Church is a local multicultural, multigenerational church, located in the heart of Madison since 1938. Today, Madison First Baptist engages the community on a weekly basis by providing a hot lunch to those in need every Monday as well as ESL (English as a Second Language) and SSL (Spanish as a Second Language) classes every Tuesday and Thursday. On a monthly and annual basis, we also offer community events such as "Movies in the Park", "Vacation Bible School", "Trunk-or-Treat", "Easter egg hunts", "Parents Night Out", "Mother's Day Brunch" and many more. We also continue to partner with other non-profit organizations and civic community groups such as Project Connect Nashville, Elevate Ministries, Be Blessed Ministry, and the Madison Police Precinct to better serve our community.
At Madison First Baptist Church our greatest passion is to help meet the spiritual needs of the community by helping every generation and culture come to know the love of Jesus, grow in their faith, serve God and each other, and share the hope that we have in Jesus. We do this by offering Bible study opportunities for all age groups (Preschool-Senior Adults) through our Connect Groups each Sunday morning, which are then followed by a multicultural, multigenerational, worship service where God's word is preached (with live translation for Spanish-speakers) and where we praise God both through hymns and modern worship songs. We also offer a special "Kids Worship" service for Kindergarteners-5th grade during the same hour. In addition we have also offer special, focused ministries that include Children's Ministry, Student Ministry (for Middle School and High Schoolers), Adult Ministry, Men's Ministry and Women Ministry throughout the year.
